Service Description
Our Day Services program offers a structured, engaging environment where individuals can participate in meaningful daily activities while receiving essential support services—all without the need for overnight or residential care. This program is ideal for individuals who live independently or with family and want to remain active, social, and well-supported during the day. Participants enjoy a variety of daily activities, such as bingo, card games, arts and crafts, music, and light exercise—designed to promote mental stimulation, creativity, and social interaction. Field trips and community outings are regularly scheduled, offering opportunities to explore local events and destinations in a safe, supervised setting. In addition to recreational programming, our Day Services include: Medication management to ensure timely and accurate administration Case management to help individuals access resources, set personal goals, and receive individualized support Transportation services, including daily pick-up and drop-off, using ADA-compliant vehicles operated by trained staff This program is a perfect solution for individuals who require daytime support but do not need full-time residential care. Important Note: What Day Services Do Not Include Unlike Housing Facilities for Assisted Living, Day Services do not include: Overnight accommodations or 24-hour supervision Assistance with bathing, dressing, or other personal hygiene tasks Housekeeping, laundry, or meal services outside of the day program On-site residential nursing or emergency care Participants in Day Services return to their own homes or living arrangements each day, making this a flexible and supportive option for those who want daily structure and assistance without the commitment of full-time housing or assisted living. ****Eligibility Requirements:**** To qualify for day service support, individuals must meet the following criteria: Proof of need for transportation assistance Residence within a defined service area, typically a 25-mile radius from the facility Approval through a Medicaid Waiver program or availability of a private pay option Individuals must be 60 years of age or older Must be eligible for Medicaid Must be living in a home or apartment
